Dishing It Up: Crock Pot Meals
*As a group, we've decided to move our Dishing It Up progressive meal hop to Thursdays. We're hoping this will appeal to more of our readers and allow our readers extra time in preparing for their weekly menus. Thanks for reading!

A progressive meal or recipe hop is a frugal and fun way to share meals with friends that has been around for decades, perhaps even centuries. Because each person is only responsible for one course of the meal it can be very frugal. The travel and company of sharing the meal at different residences makes it entertaining and fun. Plus, it's a great way to pick up new recipes, tips, and ideas. With the help and expertise of some other fantastic women bloggers we've decided to host a virtual progressive meal each week. Hopefully, you will find this virtual progression not only fun, but you'll find some wonderful new blogs to follow and pick up some new recipes and tips. We've decided to name it "Dishing It Up." Each week will hold a different category of recipes. This week's topic is : Crock Pot Meals. Each blogger has contributed a favorite recipe to share with you. I hope you'll enjoy this very special event. Feel free to leave your hostess feedback as we plan for our next recipe hop.
This recipe was shared with me by my friend Angie. It is truly delicious and easy!
Crock Pot Mac and Cheese
You'll Need:
1 box macaroni
3 cups shredded sharp cheese
8 oz Velveeta cheese
1.2 stick butter
5 oz can evaporated milk
1 3/4 cup milk
1 egg
pinch of salt and pinch of pepper
pinch of paprika
Directions:
Cook macaroni according to the directions on the box. Melt Velveeta cheese and butter in microwave and stir well. Mix all ingredients in a greased crock pot (I use a crock pot liner to make clean up super easy!). Cook on low for 3 hours or high for 1 1/2 hours.
