Welcome to the April Dishing It Up Recipe Hop Giveaway! Over the last year, our hop has grown and we've implemented some changes to make it better for you. Each month, we bring you recipes with a different theme and this month we're focusing on casseroles. Casseroles are so wonderful and easy so we're hoping to have a great variety of recipes linked up! Raspberry Orange Croissant Casserole
6 medium croissants, halved
1 8oz pkg cream cheese, softened
1 cup fresh or frozen raspberries
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup half and half
1 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp almond extract
1/2 cup orange marmalade
1/4 cup orange juice
Grease a 9x13 baking dish. Spread croissant bottoms in dish then top each with a bit of cream cheese (use all). Arrange some berries on top of each croissant bottom. Sandwich with croissant tops. In a medium bowl beat eggs, sugar, half and half, nutmeg, and almond extract together. Pour over croissants. Mix marmalade and OJ in a bowl and pour over top. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Preheat oven to 350 and bake for 40 minutes. Enjoy!
