Works 4 Me Wednesday: Kid's Night at Chic Fil A I don't know if all Chic Fil A's do this. I kind of doubt it. We are pretty fond of the Chic Fil A in Shrewsbury that is close for us. Every Tuesday night from 5-7pm they offer Kid's Night. Kid's Night consists of free kid's meals (with every adult entree purchase), a free craft to create, and entertainment! (Sometimes this is just the "play place" and other times it is a balloon artist or special guest. ) We don't get to go every week, but we do try to go 1-2x per month. The kids ABSOLUTELY love it and are growing to be Chic Fil A fans, which is definately okay by us! We love that Chic Fil A is an organization that is founded on the morals, values, and family truths that we support. We love that they are closed on Sundays, because it is a day of rest to be given to God. (Even though sometimes that means we have to sacrifice our dining out cravings. Why do they always seem the strongest on the day they are closed?!) We love that they hire teenagers and then teach them the meaning of customer service. (They have THE BEST cashiers there!) That is something that will benefit them for their entire lives. We love that the "toys" they put in their kids meals also promote good values and are usually books or activities that promote learning also. And we love that they still believe in giving back to their community through free kid's nights, daddy/daughter and mommy/son date nights, and free food on customer appreciation day. Not to mention the cleanliness! Have you ever been to a Chic Fil A that wasn't clean? We love that they provide stickable placemats for kids, free hand sanitizing wipes at the play place, and a bus boy that walks around to clean tables and offer a free refill when you need it. Can it get anymore wholesome, family friendly, and budget friendly than free kid's night at Chic Fil A? It really does work for us!
